Valentine's Day is quickly approaching. I can't believe its February.  I decided to decorate for Valentine's Day in a different way. I chose not to use your  typical red color palette.Instead of breaking the bank. I used items I already had at my house from my craft stash.I learned to always have items ready for crafting from my grandma and mom! Picture frames, rope and scrapbook paper helped my mantel turn into homespun with love.

I have let my Sunday paper subscription expire, due to my busyness with the holidays. But come this week I will be renewing. I hope to get a paper at my local grocery store. Also, in the next week I will post my Valentine Mantel. I'm just now putting my Christmas decor away. I am always a little sad when I put my Christmas decor away. I will miss the soft light of Christmas lights and the calm feeling the lights give me. But I rest in the fact that the meaning of Christmas, Jesus' birth can be lived each day.

All Things Darling

I can't believe its another new year. I remember when I was younger and I thought it was forever to the year of 2000, the year of my high school graduation. 12 years later and this is the year I will turn 30, dreading it a little. I am excited though to start this new journey of blogging. I believe God will use this to benefit my life and hopefully along the way it will help someone else. I look forward to update on "all things darling". This blog will be about all the things that inspire me whether its crafts, coupons, photography and faith. Thank you for taking this journey with me.
